My Tolomeo story

Zooey Braun

The Tolomeo is not designed for design's sake; the way it looks makes absolute sense! Its design is based on its function – and that really suits architects, of course. I myself come from a family of architects, but I deliberately decided not to study architecture and chose to become a photographer instead. Although I concentrated initially on portraits and reportage, the field of architecture eventually caught up with me again. Since I started photographing architecture, I've come across the Tolomeo time and again, because it's truly amazing: It simply fits into any surroundings. In my office, it stands on my desk in classical style, reminding me every day how important good lighting is – for architects and photographers alike.
